This beautiful oval wooden box contains a stunning hand-blown glass model of St Nicholas`s Church, Oberndorf, Austria, where in 1818 Father Joseph Mohr created, Silent Night, the most famous Christmas carol in the world.
The church roof twinkles with silver glitter and the lights in the windows are glitter in brilliant yellow. Around the base a yellow glittered ribbon reads Silent Night Chapel 1818. The glittered with snow.
The Silent Night Chapel set is hand-made in Germany by the Muller-Blech family who began the art of glassmaking in Lauscha, Germany over 400 years ago, in 1596. Every item made at the family`s factory in Neustadt in Germany has the famous five-point star crown.
Height: The chapel stands 12cms or 5ins high and 6cm wide.
Packaging: Comes in a beautiful box, 16cm (6ins) wide, and packed in straw to keep the ornament safe.
